Normally, I tell people how wonderful the winters are here. I may hate the summers but the winters are so fabulous. Usually on Halloween, it's in the low 80s. Thanksgiving, we can usually eat outside in the mid to upper 70s. Christmas lights go up and I'm wearing shorts. We even had 80 degree weather in January! It's great!

The summers...eh, not so big a fan of humidity and high temps. But, we have a/c and so does everyone else...so it's really not a huge deal.

However, this past February, we had snow. Enough for my kids to build a snowman. It was gone quickly. Just enough to have fun with, but not enough to make me hate it.

We are once again experiencing unseasonably cold weather. I sit here thinking "What happened to global warming?" Quite frankly, I would welcome some global warming! The low tonight is supposed to be 26. That is CRAZY! Tomorrow the high is not even 60.

Needless to say, work has been slow because no one wants to go outside to walk around an outdoor mall to find the place where Santa is. They are going to wait til it's warmer...which may not be til later this weekend and hopefully next week. Santa and I go outside to wave at people in passing cars. He's nice and toasty in his suit and being from the North Pole and all, not phased by this weather. Me, on the other hand, have a turtleneck and two jackets on and I'm STILL shivering. We come inside and I have a cup of cocoa to warm up. It's no surprise I can't get rid of this rotten cold.
