This Week's Eats

I don't know how many times I've fallen off the meal planning wagon. I always have an idea in my head of what we're eating, especially when I go to the store. The last few weeks, however, I've just been kind of "meh" about cooking in general. I don't know if it's the weather or what.

But this week, we're back on track. I find myself turning to Pinterest for many of my meal planning ideas now.

Sunday: Sweet & Sour Pork (made way too much sauce LOL)
Monday: Beef & Venison Stew
Tuesday: Crockpot Sesame Chicken
Wednesday: Soup &  Sandwiches
Thursday: Chili & Cheese Macaroni
Friday:Tacos (making our own shells!)
Saturday: Breakfast

And Just so I don't forget the things I need to buy this week at the store:

4 lbs ground beef
sour cream
tortillas x 2

That's not too bad for a dinner list. I still have to remember to restock the cereal. If I buy the smaller boxes of cereal, we will go through one of those a day! On average, our family eats 20 boxes of cereal a month, which means buying at least five boxes a week just to keep up. We only use 2 gallons of milk a week since some of my kids prefer to eat the cereal dry.
