Bertolli Giveaway!

Risotto is one of my favorite side dishes. I save it for winter because it takes so long to cook and the idea of standing in front of the stove for 35 minutes? Not a fan. Heck, I use my crockpot in place of a rice cooker.

I brought home both risotto varieties and the new Ricotta & Lobster Ravioli in a Seafood Bisque. There is also an Italian-Style Wedding I can't wait to try. My store didn't have that variety out. So I'm guessing it's good because the space was empty in the freezer section!

Roasted Chicken and Mushroom Risotto

 I was really surprised about how much actual chicken there was. I figured it would be mostly rice. More of a side dish risotto. Definitely not the case. It was a MEAL. And the vegetables..that wasn't skimped on, either. It tasted fresh and was very filling. Add some bread sticks and a green salad, and you really do have a great fast dinner.

My kids really enjoyed our sampling night, as we called it. I can't wait to give the other varieties in my belly :D mmmm

I was really surprised at the quality. I've sampled many Bertolli meals before and each time I'm surprised by how good these are.
