My Halloween wreath last year was awful.
This year, I was determined not to let that catastrophe happen again.
I was inspired by this wreath from Pandora's Craft Box. Isn't it amazing??
And as luck would have it, the only item I had on hand to totally copy it was... a foam wreath. And even then, I had to dismantle another wreath to get at it.
First, I wrapped wire ribbon from the old wreath around the foam.
I didn't have ready made flowers, but decided fabric rosettes would be perfect. I found spooky mesh at the dollar store and a great spider.
Everything is adhered with my trusty hot glue gun.
Still, it was missing something. . .
I found a oval piece of crafty wood and painted it purple. . . And it was clearly time to bust out the scrapbooking supplies I've been
I seem to use my scrapbooking supplies for everything except scrapping these days!
And...
Ta Da!
Much more awesome looking wreath than last year.
Of course, I keep seeing the plaque in the middle as a giant Halloweeny Easter Egg.
